Project Tejas Graduation

Vanessa Hernandez AAMA News

AAMA’s Prevention & Counseling program works with adults who are struggling with substance use and attempting to turn their lives around for the betterment of themselves and their families.  Twice per month graduation ceremonies are held in the Project Tejas Spanish speaking program to celebrate our clients who have completed the program.  Clients enrolled in Prevention & Counseling’s Project Tejas program shared their personal journey with substance use. Project Tejas has given them a tool kit of skills to not only know their personal worth but strategies to use on their individual road to recovery. Patrick Rocha, Project Tejas counselor, stated, “Our light is always on and our door is always open,” to clients who choose AAMA’s Prevention & Counseling as their lighthouse to recovery. Please contact the Prevention & Counseling office at 713-926-9491 for more information about Project Tejas program.
