AAMA Programs to Resume Shortly

Vanessa Hernandez AAMA News

Dear Friends of AAMA,

AAMA will re-open for clients and students including residential treatment on September 11th.

Although our campus buildings were not flooded, many of our classrooms and program service areas were damaged by leaks and water seepage. To adequately address these building issues, our campuses will remain closed, with only administrative staff returning to work.

Sanchez Charter School, Adelante Adult Education classes, and Substance Treatment and Prevention Counseling services are slated to resume on Monday, September 11th.

Staff will return in phases starting next week. Contact your supervisor.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our AAMA Family including staff, students, clients and their families as well as ALL of the Houston community and the many families affected by Hurricane Harvey. On behalf of AAMA, our hearts go out to you and your families. We pray for those families that have lost loved ones and property during this horrific storm.

Houston is a wonderful and a strong community, and we will come out of this storm better and stronger than ever.

Thank you,

Joe Jimenez
