The Social Enterprise is an advanced graphic design program where students work with local businesses and non-profits to support their social media, graphic design, and marketing needs. The Enterprise is a program available to students who exhibit leadership, advanced skills in design, and professional communication skills. Students apply during their time in the cohort and go through an interview process. Once accepted in the program their term in The Enterprise could range up to three to six months. Students are considered junior designers and serve as Work and Learn Center Ambassadors. As an ambassador students lead workshops, mentor peers, interact with clients, conduct stakeholders tours, and represent The WLC. Enterprise students are paid an hourly wage.
