• Begin program Sophomore year (10th) preferred 
• Good Attendance ( no more than 3 absences)
• Good Conduct ( NO disciplinary actions)
• 100% Commitment

WHAT IS DUAL CREDIT?

• • One class that earns high school credit and college credit at the same time
  • Taken in Multiple ways
  • College Credit is given by Houston Community College and accepted at public universities in Texas

WHO SHOULD TAKE DUAL CREDIT?

• Students who: 
  • Want an associate degree or a bachelor’s degree
  • Earn a certificate
  • Want to attend a Public University in Texas
  • Work hard
  • Want to save money on college tuition

HOW TO APPLY FOR A DUAL CREDIT COURSE

• 1. Complete interest form/packet and turn it in with Ms. Delgado
  2. Parent/Student meeting with Ms. Delgado to review grades and attendance
  3. Apply to HCC on Apply Texas
  4. TSI testing
