Parents & Students
At Sanchez Charter School, we encourage parents to get involved in their child's education. We believe that by working together, we can help our students be more successful - at Sanchez, in college or career, and in the community.
Studies have shown that students whose parents are involved with the school earn higher grades, perform better on tests, attend school more regularly, have better behavior and show more positive attitudes about themselves and school.
We understand that many parents work long hours and may have limited time for school activities. That is why we offer a number of different ways for parents to connect with the school:
- Monthly parent groups - both early morning and evening
- Periodic parent nights
- Phone calls or email to staff, counselors or teachers
- Adelante Adult Education classes
- Volunteer opportunities
We have bilingual staff members available to meet with parents at any time. Please feel free to call or schedule a visit to Sanchez Charter School if you have any questions or would like to discuss your child's progress.
We look forward to working closely with you to help your child succeed!
