Sanchez Charter School has one of the most successful programs for educating at-risk Latino middle school and high school students. At Sanchez, students overcome academic and social barriers through small classes, rigorous instruction, one-on-one attention, a personalized learning environment and an array of wraparound services for themselves and their families.
Because Sanchez is small – fewer than 800 students in Grades 6-12 – our educators develop personal relationships with each student while maintaining high academic expectations. Teachers engage students in their studies through project-based learning and state-of-the-art technology such as netbooks, tablets and Promethean boards.
At Sanchez, students discover a wide range of college and career pathways through campus visits, dual credit courses, internships, service learning projects, and other learning experiences beyond the classroom. And a variety of student clubs, extra-curricular activities and competitive sports programs help students keep fit, active and motivated to succeed.
