Through our partnerships with other organizations, Sanchez Charter School students can experience a variety of learning opportunities outside the classroom that help them develop college and career readiness skills.

Our partnerships include:

Genesys Works
Through the Genesys Works program, students build confidence and realize they can succeed as professionals in the corporate world. Following their junior year, students participate in an intensive eight-week training program that prepares them for an internship with a major Houston corporation in the field of information technology, engineering drafting or accounting and finance.www.genesysworks.org/houston/

The Woods Project
Students develop leadership capacity and life skills through The Woods Project's outdoor education and environmental awareness program. Students participate in hands-on learning opportunities throughout the school year that culminate in a two-week outdoor education program at a national recognized wilderness institute. These experiences encourage an interest in science and the environment, expand the students' world view through exposure to challenging situations and diverse environments, and help students develop life and leadership skills through wilderness exploration. www.thewoodsproject.org/
